About Revive at Work

Denise Bailey, Founder and lead therapist at Revive at Work

Denise’s passion for holistic therapies began in the 90s, following an aromatherapy massage that changed her outlook on life. At this time, Denise was working as an officer on a cruise ship; a seven-days-a-week role which was demanding and relentless. She went into the therapist’s room stressed and exhausted, and came out focused, relaxed and determined to continue her new massage regimen.

After continuing her weekly trips to the ship’s spa, Denise began to formulate her idea for an exciting business venture – sharing her experience of how invigorating a massage could be. After returning to the UK, she spent the next five years training, practising and honing the skills needed to become a therapist.

In 2003, Revive at Work was created with the goal of transforming workplaces across Wales. Since its successful launch, Revive has adapted with changing workplace needs, incorporating a range of online services. Denise has continually expanded her handpicked team, and counts Rapid Transformation Therapist and motivational speaker, Sian Collins, and FFIT CYMRU’s personal trainer and fitness coach, Rae Carpenter, among her tight-knit team.
